Only a few minutes from the door of our house is the cable car station to one of the largest and most modern winter sport destinations of the alps: LAAX-FLIMS-FALERA. Our hotel bus goes half hourly and is free to the cable car station in Flims. There 235 kilometres Ski-Slopes wait for you! Not only skiing and snowboarding can be done in inter in Flims, Laax, Falera but also cross-country skiing, tobogganing or wonderful winter walks.<\/p>\n

LAAX is famous far over its boarders, it is first and for most the freestyle destination nr. 1 in Europe. But also for enjoyment skiers and for family the cable cars in the last years invested a great deal. Many easy slopes and almost only cable cars offer much comfort for the inexperienced winter guests. With 235 slope kilometres Laax is one o the largest winter sport areas of the Alps. It reaches up over 3000 metres above sea level on the Vorab Glacier. The great height and the modern snow cannons guarantee skiing until the middle of April.<\/p>\n

For all of those who like to discover the winter landscape on cross country skis, the area offers 55 kilometres of slopes. These are good for classical and skating technique. The ski route is close to the hotel Cresta in Flims. Another one is in the high valley Bargis and one in Sagogn and one in Trin, which is lit up in the evening.<\/p>\n

Winter walks and toboggans<\/h2>\n

More than one hundred kilometres are prepared in such a way, that they are suitable for winter walks and long walks. Walk through the snow covered woods and wonderful sunny parts. For toboggan adventure an approximately 3 kilometre long line from Foppa to Flims and 3.45 kilometres from Curnius to Falera. Night toboggan is always on Tuesday or Sunday.<\/p>\n
