So that you can find your way around right from the beginning, we have compiled some information for you here. If you have any questions or concerns, we will of course be happy to help you personally.

ARRIVAL – CHECK-IN
Your room will be ready for occupancy by 14.00 o’clock. If you wish, you can leave your car with us earlier. A luggage room is available.

ADAPTERS
A selection of adapters and chargers is available to lend at the front desk.

ALARM
You can be woken up by your room phone. Please inform us about your desired wake-up time until 10.00 p.m. under the number 111.

BATHROBE | BATHTOWEL
You will find a bathrobe and bath towel for your wellness stay in your wardrobe. Please take both back to your room after using them. The bath towel can be changed on request, just put it in the bathtub or shower. In the wellness area there are small towels for the saunas to sit on. If you like to have an additional bath towel for the sauna, you are welcome to ask for it at the front desk.

BATHSHOES
For sustainability reasons, we recommend to bring your own bathing shoes. If you do not have any with you, we will be happy to give you disposable bathing shoes at the front desk.

BATHROOM STOOLS | ANTI-SLIP MATS
We are happy to provide you with a bathroom stool and anti-slip mats for the shower or bath on request.

BIKE
You can park your bike in our underground garage on the right side after the garage door. Even if the garage is closed at night, we recommend securing your bike with an additional lock. Sockets are available there for charging e-bikes.

BLANKET
For cold days we can bring you a second blanket or a woolen blanket. Please ask at the front desk or call the number 111. Allergic bedding is also available on request.

BOOKS
There are bookcases in the TV room with a wide selection of books in various languages. Ask for the key to the bookcases at the front desk if you have run out of holiday reading material. You are also welcome to add your “read out” book to our library by handing it in at the front desk.

BUS
In summer, the FLF Shuttle (local bus) and the post bus run along the main road between Falera and Bargis. In winter, our hotel bus (in front of the main entrance) and the shuttle (right next to the hotel) will take you comfortably to the Flims valley station and back again. You can get the timetables at the front desk. All public transport between Flims, Laax and Falera as well as all local buses can be used free of charge with the guest card. Exception: Bargis Shuttle and Nightliner.

CAR
Outdoor parking is available free of charge above the front desk, directly under the main building (at the garage entrance) and after the hotel on the left hand side (large car park). Please park in a space-saving manner. The church car park in opposite is subject to a charge and does not belong to the hotel (in winter there is also a night parking ban).

Garage spaces can be rented for CHF 15.00 per space and night. We will be happy to allocate a space for you at front desk.

CONFERENCE ROOM
Are you planning a meeting, further education or a holiday week with using a group room? Our conference room is equipped with the necessary technology (beamer, flipchart, etc.) and offers a relaxing view of the countryside through the panorama window. We would be happy to show you the room (subject to availability) and advise you. Please contact the front desk.

DEPARTURE – CHECK-OUT
We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11.00 o’clock on the day of departure. The possibility for a late check-out is subject to availability (additional charge). The front desk will be happy to provide you with information. A luggage room is available.

That you can enjoy your departure day to the full, it is possible to leave the car with us during the day. Our wellness area can be used also on the day of departure. There is a changing area where you can deposit your bathrobe and bath towel (from your room) if you are still out and about in the area beforehand.

DOCTORS
Dial 0848 17 17 to be connected directly to the doctor on emergency duty or ask at front desk for the doctor responsible for emergencies.

DOGS
We are happy to welcome your dog upon advance reservation. There is a surcharge of CHF 15.00 per dog per night (without food). Please note that dogs do not have access to the restaurant and wellness area. On request and subject to availability, we will be happy to prepare a table for you in our separate “Stübli” so that you can have your four-legged friend with you while eating.

FITNESS ROOM
Our small fitness room is at your free disposal and is open around the clock. It is located by the corridor to the wellness area.

FOOD | BEVERAGE
Breakfast buffet 07.30 to 10.30 a.m.
4-course half-board menu 18.30 to 19.30 (to start)
Our kitchen will be pleased to spoil you with a daily changing 4-course menu (no à la carte offer). In our beverage list you will also find a wide selection of wines. An aperitif, a nightcap or simply a cup of tea can be enjoyed at our bar, in the lounge or on one of our terraces. Take a look at our bar or tea menu and place your order at front desk outside service hours.

FRONT DESK
The front desk is manned from 07.00 to 22.00 and can be reached at any time by calling 111. Would you like to copy or scan something? We will be happy to help you. Please send documents for printing to info@cresta.ch.

GARDEN
In our large garden you will find beautiful sunbathing lawns, secluded spots, romantic ponds and much more. In summer there is a ping pong table behind Villa Selva. Balls and rackets are available at the front desk, as well as shuttlecocks.

HALF BOARD
Enjoy our daily changing 4-course selection menu at the special price of CHF 38.00 per person per night when booked in advance for the entire stay. If you would like to decide on place or book individual evenings, the price is CHF 49.00 per person. Please note that we do not offer à la carte.

HIKING
Discover 250 kilometers of the most beautiful hiking trails in Switzerland. Cross crystal-clear mountain streams, refresh yourself in turquoise mountain lakes, hike through enchanted forests and marvel at natural wonders such as the Martinsloch or the Tschingelhörner.

Hiking maps and hiking suggestions are available at the front desk. If you don’t have your hiking backpack or hiking poles with you, we will be happy to help you out, just contact our front desk. Dirty hiking boots can be cleaned at the water tap in front of the garage entrance and then hung up to dry in the ski room (see more at SHOE CLEANING MACHINE).

HYGIENE ARTICLES
If you have forgotten your toothbrush, toothpaste or razor at home, disposable items are available at the front desk.

INTERNET
Our Internet connection is available throughout the house free of charge.
Two computers are available for free use in the TV room.

LAUNDRY
On the 1st floor, in the main house, there is a laundry room. You can do your own washing there (CHF 10.00 per wash including drying). Please contact the front desk beforehand. Detergent is available. Do not iron in your room, as this is prohibited by fire regulations. We are happy to wash and iron your laundry on request. LUGGAGE
We are happy to help you with your suitcases. Please contact front desk or dial 111. Our luggage room on the ground floor of the main house is available to store your luggage on the day of arrival and departure.

NEWSPAPERS
The “Bündner Tagblatt” and the “NZZ” are available in the lounge. You will also find various other magazines there.

NIGHT
The entrance doors are locked from about 22.00 until 07.00. If you return home later in the evening, please take your key with you. You can use it to open the main entrance door on the right side by the white pillar, as well as the entrance doors to the adjoining houses.

PAYMENT
In addition to cash, we also accept Maestro and V-Pay cards (national and international), Swiss Postcard, REKA-checks and -cards as well as Mastercard, Visa and American Express. You can also pay conveniently by TWINT if you have the TWINT app on your mobile phone. Foreign currency can be exchanged at the front desk within the limits of the law, in small amounts and at the daily exchange rate set by the hotel.

PILLOWS
We will be happy to bring you additional pillows on request. Please contact the front desk or call 111. The head section of the slatted frame can also be adjusted, that you can lie with your head a little higher. Please also ask at the front desk about various alternative pillows that we can offer you (millet, neck pillows, allergy pillows, etc.).

RADIO
You can receive various radio stations at the TV starting from channel 140.

ROOM CLEANING
Your room will be cleaned daily by our cleaning staff. Change of towels and bath towels is done on request by placing towels on the bathroom floor. Hanging towels are not changed out of consideration for our environment. For a one-week stay, we change the bed linen once. Please let us know at the front desk if you would like to do without or if you would like us to change your bed linen more often. Out of love for the environment, we choose sustainable products for our cleaning products.

SAFE
In the wardrobe you will find a safe which you can lock and open with your own numerical code. The maximum insured amount is CHF 3000.

SEWING
Has a button fallen off your shirt or has the seam come undone? We will be happy to help you out at the front desk with sewing kit. If you wish, we can do this for you as well. Please hand in the defective garment at front desk.

SHOE SHINE MACHINE
There is a shoe shine machine in the main building at the basement and at the entrance to the Villa Selva. If your shoes get dirty during a walk in the woods, you are welcome to clean them there. Additional shoeshine utensils can be obtained at the reception.

SKI ROOM
You can reach our ski room by going down the stairs to the left of the main entrance, by taking the stairs in the main house to the basement (-1) or through the garage. There you can deposit your winter equipment. There are also plenty of boot warmers, so you can slip into dry, warm boots the next day. Please do not walk through the hotel with ski boots.

SLEDGES
In the corridor between the ski room and the garage you will find some sledges and slides to borrow free of charge. If they are already taken, there is the possibility to rent sports sledges directly at the valley station Flims.

SMOKING
We are a non-smoking hotel and ask you to refrain from smoking in the entire house. It is permitted on the balcony or terrace and in front of the main entrances. Please close the balcony door.

TEA WATER
We will be happy to fill your thermos flask with hot water or lend you one from the hotel. Please contact the service office during breakfast or dinner or the front desk.

TELEPHONE
You can reach our front desk by dialing 111. The 0 gives you the outside line. So to choose external numbers always dial 0 + the desired number. From room to room, simply dial the room number. The rooms do not have an external direct line, but you are welcome to tell your loved ones our main number +41 (0)81 911 35 35. Incoming calls will be forwarded to you as long as the front desk is manned.

TV
Use the “Guide” button on your remote control to call up the channel list. You will find a summary of channels on your desk and a detailed channel list is available in paper form at the front desk or you can download it here. Please be considerate of your neighbours regarding the volume.

TIP
If you would like to give some tip to our staff, we have a small “treasure chest” at front desk. At the end of the season, this will be distributed fairly to all those who work with us.

WATER
The tap water in the room comes from the Flims mountain and is good drinking water. The bottle of Valser water provided will be replaced by our cleaning staff when it is used up and the CHF 3.90 will be added to your room bill. Please order our “Grander water”, a revitalised water or mineral water with or without sparkling water, from the service desk or at the front desk.

WELLNESS
Our wellness facility “Auas Sparsas” with heated outdoor wellness pool, bio swimming pond, various saunas, steam baths, Kneipp fountain is open daily from 13.00 to 19.00 o’clock (swimming pool to 20.00 o’clock) in winter season and can be used free of charge by our house guests. In summer the swimming pool is open from 07.00 to 21.00, the saunas from 13.00 to 19.00 o’clock. Tokens for the bubble baths can be obtained for CHF 10.00 per token (20min bubble) at front desk (we will gladly add the amount to your room bill).
